Trafsys’ SCADA system Trafvision is the software used by the Norwegian Traffic Management Centres to control about 650 tunnels, bridges and mountain passes in Western and Northern Norway. In many of those Trafsys has delivered the local control system as well. Hence, our solutions contributes to people arriving safely, and puts the operation at the traffic management centre in the best position if an accident were to occur.
We deliver advanced industrial control and monitoring systems, including SCADA, WinCC OA as well as local PLC based control systems for automatic safety functions. These systems enables precise and reliable control of variable message signs, barriers, fans, lighting and other critical infrastructure elements.
Since 1999 the functionality in the SCADA system Trafvision has been developed in close collaboration with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA). As of today, the NPRA uses this solution for the monitoring and control of more than 650 tunnels, bridges and mountain passes across Norway.

Trafsys has qualified personnel for configuration of Siemen’s SCADA system WinCC Open Architecture.
