DAB Radio in Tunnel
Trafairwaves is a radio system for broadcasting DAB and information to road users during an emergency. The system is aimed at DAB coverage in road tunnels in Norway, but can be adapted to other needs. The solution fulfills all requirements with respect to DAB installations in road tunnels, including emergency voice announcements, live or pre-recorded. This includes everything from simple single-lane tunnels to the largest and most complex road systems, with multiple lanes, multiple tunnels and differentiated message broadcast.

Trafairwaves is developed in accordance with all relevant standards and regulations, including SVV HB-R761, process code 36.43. Our solution is compact and modular, ensuring easy installation, operation and maintenance.

RSEN (Radio central)

- Can be delivered in floor cabinet or wall-mounted 19’’ rack cabinet. (The wall-mounted cabinet is wall-hinged for easy access.)
RFOR (Radio Amplifier)
- Management via WEB and Modbus TCP.
(Status and parameters can also be read out via RSEN with Modbus TCP / UDP, SNMP and WEB) - Alarm interface for RF-Out power, RF-Reflected power, fibre optic reception, temperature etc.
