When every second counts
You drive on the road, perhaps into a tunnel. Everything seems normal. Suddenly something happens – a car stops, an accident occurs, or worse, a fire breaks out. The smoke spreads rapidly, and visibility disappears. Panic may set in, but this is the moment when our systems are activated.
How we ensure road safety
When an incident occurs in a tunnel or on the road, our systems immediately identify the deviation. Trafsense detects changes in the traffic flow and notifies the Traffic Management Centre in real-time. By using our software systems, the Traffic Management Centre quickly gets an overview of the situation and can take necessary measures.
When an emergency telephone is used, immediate contact is made with the Traffic Management Centre. The radio systems in the tunnel send important messages directly to car radios, while variable message signs are automatically updated to guide traffic safely. Surveillance cameras give operators a full overview, so that appropriate measures can be taken immediately. Our technology is developed with a deep understanding of critical situations.
