The Husafjell Tunnel
The Husafjell tunnel was built in connection with the Karmøy tunnel in 2013. It is located on county road 554 in Karmøy municipality in Rogaland.
In 2024, the Husafjell Tunnel was upgraded and was equipped with Trafsense – Trafsys’ AID system based on fiber optics. In addition, Trafsys has supplied the CCTV system. The local control system and emergency telephones from Norphonic were Trafsys’ deliverables when the tunnel was built.
